Psychometric Testing

(Optional upon request of Client)

A range of Psychometric Tests are available and can be arranged for candidates by a registered Industrial Psychologist. The fee will be advised at the time and for the Client’s expense.

Test Batteries:

The composition of the test battery will be determined by client needs. Specific circumstances will be the indicative factors. It is recommended that a Cognitive Instrument be used in conjunction with a Personality Questionnaire. The prediction of potential work success is more accurate when combining these two instruments.

Cognitive:

  • Mental Alertness (Measuring the ability of quick and accurate thinking).
  • High Level Configuration (Measuring abstract reasoning ability).

Apil-B:

  • This is a comprehensive assessment which provides a wide-range of scores, confronting the testee with four completely different types of stimulus formats.

Personality Questionnaires:

  • 16PF (Measuring the Individual’s stand in terms of the majority of primary personality factors.
  • Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI) (Measuring the basic preferences of a person with specific reference to perception and judgement.

Wechsler (Intelligence Scale for Adults).

CPA (Career Path Appreciation).

Assessment Centres:

Competency Based Assessment tools based on needs related such as Assessment Centres on job related tasks to be done under controlled conditions can be arranged.
